About Cast Youth Theatre
Cast Youth Theatre is for Young people ages 3 – 26. Cast Youth Theatre is an exciting, high energy group combining fun drama activities and games, singing, dancing and imagination.
Cast Youth Theatre is for everyone; whether you are a complete beginner, want to build on your existing acting experience, or simply get to know other young people interested in theatre.
It's all about increasing confidence, boosting self-esteem and nurturing imagination through fun filled, games and role-play. Your child doesn't have to be a confident chatterbox or experienced in performing to take part. We welcome everyone to join in the fun.
Each term participants will create short pieces of drama to share with their families while developing their confidence and skills in performance. Every other year all Cast Youth Theatre groups work together to create a large-scale performance on the main stage at Cast.

The Imagination
Emporium project
This summer, Cast Youth Theatre have been working on
The Imagination Emporium project

Part funded by Arts Council England, this has been an opportunity for members of our Youth Theatre to co-create a world of imagination and fun with digital artists and present it through digital artforms. Working in their regular Youth Theatre sessions and in bespoke summer holiday activity days, the ideas, stories, characters and content have all been created by our Youth Theatre members, guided by a team of Youth Theatre directors and digital artists. It’s been a pleasure to work with our brilliant, creative young people on this project.
