Here we create history, keep memories alive… without us, and our magical dust, Doncaster would be a memory fading into the past. We are the beating heart of Doncaster, our dust and our work make it the wonderful place it is today!

The Dust
The Imagination Emporium is powered by DUST!
At the heart of the Emporium is the dust storage room, packed ceiling to doors with jars of our magical dust. The dust is created in our dust making kitchens, using Aaron: use the secret recipe to make dust
Created over 32,000 years ago, the dust formula is our most precious secret. Safely locked away in our top secret safe with the key around the neck of our Golden Parrot (But don’t tell any one that!).
Each jar a different colour, each with a different magic helps keep Doncaster’s past alive. Just sprinkle it on an object, and everyone in Doncaster will remember.
If anyone should ever steal the dust it would be a disaster for both the Imagination Emporium and the whole of Doncaster….
Our Collections
Rich memories are at the heart of our Imagination Emporium… The cabinet of precious heirlooms and the bookcase of the past are where many of these memories are preserved.
With the help of Cast Youth Theatre we have been able to present some of these memories here.
Shiver as you learn the story behind the portrait of the grey lady, delight in the tale of the rainbow frog, wonder at the story of Danu and laugh at the tale of the book of the flying frying pan and the magical Doncaster wardrobe.

Imagination Emporium partners with Cast Youth Theatre
We’re thrilled here at the Imagination Emporium to be sharing news of our latest partnership – a fantastic union between Cast Youth Theatre and the Emporium.
We will be working with Cast Youth Theatre to share and create Doncaster’s stories and tales through imaginative digital content that will be hosted on this microsite. This will give a chance for Doncaster’s stories to come to life, and for the public to peek behind the scenes of the Emporium as never before. This truly is a new chapter in the life of the Imagination Emporium
Theft at the Emporium
We are devastated to bring you the news, we hoped that we would never have to say. Late, last night the secret and sacred Imagination Emporium was broken into, and the magical dust that keeps Doncaster’s history alive has also been stolen, along with the recipe to make more.
Dr Doodlepip is unavailable to comment, but more information can be found by watching local news networks, such as the film below.
Who did it?!
As speculation around the theft of the dust, and the secret recipe heightens, a team of crack reporters have been working on theories about who stole the dust. Listen to their theories here and see if you can guess who stole the dust!
